Getting married doesn't make you less powerful as a woman, it's just another choice we can make. While I'm not a twihard by any means, I have read the books, Bella doesn't want to get married, she sees no point in getting married, but compromises with Edward and agrees to legally marry so he'll turn her. Oh well..like it really matters.

The others are for a mixed and younger audience (excl. star wars which had a mainly male audience, probz older too). All the fantasy fictions I've read aimed at females always includes a male love interest which takes up half the story...Plus twilight was written by a married mormon women. She's wrote a book that was within the confines of her own values. At least the character is a good role model for no sex before marriage in a fantasy-theme that girls are actually interested in reading. These kind of comparisons (the above photo) are unfair.
