8 Month Old Deaf Babys Reaction To Cochlear Implant Being Activated !

i have been born with only 5% hearing in my right ear. i have been deaf until i was 9 and i can tell you, being deaf is horrible. i have gone trough many operations and i can hear now. the day i become deaf again..., i don't think i would want to live anymore, because it is indeed scary as hell.

I glad he can hear now because my mom is hard of hearing and she tells me that being deaf is hard and scary and boring as hell because can't listen to music and yea you can watch tv but guess what without sound would make them fall asleep.

no I agree with defaceral. It should not be the parents decision to make on the child. It is just a lazy way out so they don't have deal with it. Cochlear implants are not good. There is Nothing wrong with a deaf people. So if the mother of this child wanted her child to hear and go through surgery at the 8 months there is something wrong with that. The kid is not even a year old and going through a surgery that he does not need. That was the point that Deafcereal was making and it is not stupid.

Stephan, from My experience with my old Cochlear Implant was threated to my health. How can Cochlear Implant cause to safety our Health without FDA's approve? It could be destory their brain from wire to Ear implant. There is no Cures in Cochlear Implant to makes us better. It's very dangerous to harm Deaf people to use it. We must fight against AGBELL and their Cochlear Implant companies.
