Also, it was deep, most free divers equalize by swallowing or flood there sinuses with water to eliminate the need to equalize.

Duuh of course he did, otherwise you'd see other cameramans in the shot if they'd take this in one take. 4min breathhold is entirely possible (world record is closer to 6 min), but for such active moves 4 minutes would be impossible.
