Williams looks back at some of the biggest fashion events featured on Tokyo Fashion News in the first half of 2011. First, FashionTV highlights the girls events of the year, including the Tokyo Girls Collection by girlswalker.com for Spring/Summer 2011 with models like Liv Lo in cool clothes and extravagant costumes. Model Nozomi Sasaki opened the show. The theme this season is Tokyo romantic fever. Later, the Tokyo Girls Collection arrived in Nagoya. This theme was super decorative favor. It highlighted spring/summer trends featuring kitsch fashion from the 70s and popular styles of Nagoya. Next, the popular Kobe collection for Spring/Summer 2011 was held at the World Memorial Hall. Model Jun Hasegawa opened the show holding a flag that said Freedom. Japan's biggest girl fashion festival was in Beijing. The model opening the show was Jun Hasegawa. Many of Japan's top stars attended the event. Tokyo Fashion News also highlights the Fukuoka Asia Collection (FACo) for Spring/Summer 2011. Popular models form the Kuchu region of Japan also attended this event. This was the first event since the east Japan earthquake, charities collected donations. The Girls Award Spring/Summer 2011 was recently held at the Yoyogi National Stadium First Gymnasium. The theme for this season was color. Model Lena Fujii got to wear a bridal gown as she sashayed down the runway. Models also gave their time to charities to collect donations for the victims of the earthquake. Natsuki Kato said, "I've always been thinking what I can do through fashion, so I want to send out the powers I get from this charity to the areas that were struck."
