I filmed this on Dec 1 still during the windstorm (my apology for the dirty windshield). In this video you can see several BIG trees uprooted and the generally messy streets. All of this was just within unde a mile distance. So much MORE damage has been done everywhere else by this storm across the Western States.
Less than 2 months later: another little disaster in Bountiful Utah!
Just blocks away from this video's location, during a heavy snowfall (covering black ice), cars lost control and were sliding down the hill onto the sidewalks, and crashing into other cars and neighbors' yards. Luckily, it appears that nobody got hurt. If you are interested in watching, the video is entitled "Cars Sliding & Crashing in Bountiful, UT, 400 north bountiful ut 1/21/2012".
