As time goes on, it becomes more and more obvious that the great apes are our evolutionary cousins. I would hope everyone viewing this would be able to share in my astonishment and awe at the brilliance displayed by these amazing creatures.

The theory does not contend that we evolved from chimps. It (the theory) contends that we share a common ancestor as the chimpanzee. Humans, Chimpanzees, Gorillas, Orangutans etc (primates) share a common ancestor. You're obviously of the "creationist" lot. Probably best you not delve to deeply into facts lest you lose your faith.
Nah, nothing cruel about taking an animal from it's natural habitat and placing it in a concrete box for 'scientific reasons'. None whatsoever, they looks happy enough to me....until he ends up on a dinner plate.
it's like mental stimulation for the chimp. Without this, it's been proven they will become depressed and repressed. So it's sort of like school for them, certainly not cruel, at least not this video.
Poor thing, everyday having to excersise and pull for his food, it's nice to see the co-operation and love within it but just give the animal it's food.
