Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun smacked three home runs at Petco Park last night to go along with a two-run triple in an 8-3 Milwaukee victory. The controversial and often chatty fella now has seven more home runs than Albert Pujols, who is far too busy doing his best to embarrass Angels owner Arte Moreno. Here’s Braun:
”It’s definitely special. It’s an extremely challenging game we play. You’re going to deal with a lot of failure, a lot of adversity, and when you have a special night like that you try to enjoy it and it’s that much more fun and enjoyable when your team wins the game. It was definitely a pretty cool night.”
I can understand Braun’s level of enthusiasm considering two of the homers came off of the immortal Joe Wieland.
Right here is probably where we all stare into the camera while raising a dramatically speculative eyebrow, so raise away. It’s also probably where Braun reminds us he passed a test that he can’t talk about, by talking about it.
