Riley Blissmer -- 24-Jul-2012 06:09:18 pm -- do you have a runway in your backyard?
Truston BlackyChanafroshuffle Durham -- 10-Jun-2012 01:16:40 am -- it wud be so "fly" to see that take off while going down the high way.
Michael Carr -- 23-May-2012 07:47:44 am -- Imagine falling asleep at the wheel now! LOL (Oh and drunk driving... We know it'll happen.)
Randy May -- 13-May-2012 02:07:32 pm -- This is so Cool! Maybe I'll have one someday.
John Saint -- 07-May-2012 11:29:33 am -- It"s a plane you can drrive on the streets. I'd like to see the Harrier version seems take off would be easier within the city. Runways are not everywhere and having to drive to one would suck.
Taiwo Adeyemor Arsenallistic Abudolski -- 25-Apr-2012 02:15:41 pm -- I love this.

pdoe -- 12-Apr-2012 11:53:29 am -- thats what i said too. this is a drivable plane because you need a runway and an airport to take off. i guarantee taking off from the freeway is totsttly illegal
this is not the first flying car. there was a tv show in the 50s. that had the main character driving/flying a flying car. the man also had a bassett hound by the name of cleo.
I'm guessing that if he didn't, the wheels would be 'turned' one way or other flying into the wind and the stability issues would be quite dramatic! . . even the potential to go into a roll. In a Eurofighter that would not be a big deal, but in this cute little craft, well ~ ! (I'd still love one for 'flapping' around in at the weekend)
Only a moron would consider going up in this thing.
Just imagine all the government grant money this "project" soaked up... just to design and build an impractical car and unusable airplane.
I wonder how well it will survive a crash on the highway or those nasty cross-winds over a bridge. It looks more like an item for people that are too cheap to store their plane at the airport.
Well they finally did it. They made a car that can fly like a plane. What will they think of next. Perhaps a plane that can drive like a car.
LOL Sorry but
I just had to say it.
This is so cool...I all ready see the jet car and the helicoptr car too...I can't believe it has been out for over one year. Can you attach bombs to it...Few foke I'd like to pull a fly by on?! Like the dizzel fizzle...That is one great automoplane that I have ever seen...
This is just what I want; something that barely flies faster than it can be driven, but can be rendered unairworthy by a minor fender-bender on the way to the airport. I'll just continue to drive a car to the airport and get in an airplane that only flies. This will always remain a novelty.
That's not a flying car. That is an ugly plane with collapsible wings.
Which by the way is a real good idea. Yeah the first thing I look for on an airplane before I board is collapsible wings cause god knows when you are 10,000 feet up the most important thing about the aircraft you're in is how easy it is to park it in the garage and no worries about the added points of failure. Yeah good thing this was not a huge waste of time and money...
Well this is the first time I've ever seen someone start a car like that. Maybe you can learn something here, if you're ever in a similar situation. O ...
