@Herkkokoskinen The valves on a trumped are designed to change the 'length' of the tubing so that you can hit all the range of notes. This 'rubber hose' trumpet can only hit certain notes within a scale (or in other words, can't do complete scales with this rubber hose one.)

Umm.. doesn't trumpets have moving parts and those "keys" etc. and you need to extend it and/or push those keys while blowing and such....

So.. if you can play the trumpet just as well by making the sounds with your mouth and blowing in a rubber hose and a funnel.. why use a trumpet? :O
