I am not sure if bear lifeguard is an actual profession, but if it is, I know who to call when things get rough. While trout fishing on Alaska's Kenai River, Dustin Klepacki, Mike Polocz and Charlie Mettiale spotted a young brown bear struggling for its life after being sucked into a whirlpool. Klepacki grabbed a net and Polocz (Klepacki's dad) took hold of the oars, as they tried to use the net to nudge to cub into calm waters. After some tense moments, the panicked bear was pinned against the boat, allowing Klepacki to push it into slower water, and the little creature was able to swim to safety.
