http://youtube.com/FashionTV JAPAN - A kaleidoscope of prints against a black background provide the setting for the Han Ahn Soon runway show, which also showcases those same colorful red and green prints as well as other sculptural elements in their newest TouchMe collection. TouchMe is a group that forms collaborations between designers and stylists for the ultimate in wearable Japanese fashion. Designer Han Ahn Soon says the theme for this season's collection is 3931. This is the sum that you get when you add the number 1920 to 2011. Han Ahn Soon puts qualities of both years in her pieces--models wear 1920s flapper-inspired headwear, gloves, and dresses but the dresses are punched up with bright colors and prints for a contemporary twist. Han Ahn Soon teams up with stylist Rena Senba, who adds some spice in styling to the hair, makeup, and the way the clothes are pieced together. She also put feathers in the collection and made the hem shorter on some of the skirts to add that modern element.
Appearances: Han Ahn Soon (Designer), Rena Senba (Stylist)
