Yes, sometimes life just isn't fair. Yet its through the trials and tribulations, the crap of life, we have the opportunity to break free from old patterns of life, and open our eyes to new ways of seeing the world. Most folks are creatures of habit and until they have the heart attack, until you have the cancer and until your loved one dies, nothing ever changes. We get stuck in the mud and stop growing in life.
In reality, a part of everyone's life sucks. Some more than others. In the dynamics of pursuing pleasure or avoiding pain, most people are far more motivated to avoid the pain. Ironically, if we can use the significant emotional events of life, the trials and tribulations, to dig deeper into our being, they can provide great opportunities for growth and greater meaning in life.
