Did you actually listen to the video or know anything about Nasa and spaceflight? The request for more funding and boosting NASA is not just about going to Mars or fun trips in space. Do you have any idea how many technologies we take for granted today, which are directly related to spinoffs from Nasa research programs which have resulted in safer travel, saved lives through medical and scientific advances, have the potential to create clean energy and rid the road of fossil fuel-burning cars using fuel cells, allowed us to put satellites in space to monitor water levels, predict droughts and famines and dangerous weather, aid the clean up of oil spills, monitor volcanic eruptions or floods or tsunamis? I could go on for hours. Spaceflight is so demanding, it's been shown time and time again, that advances here directly influence emerging technologies and ultimately better the human race. It has nothing to do with capitalism, or communism, about good or evil, about arrogance or greed
