Sk Ali -- 08-Nov-2012 06:11:04 pm -- maybe these motions may help to explain the pyramids.
Val Octave Quasar -- 30-Aug-2012 07:48:23 pm -- Let me clarify for the conspiracy morons who think we can produce electrical power from such devices: energy does not come from nowhere... all these devices do is create a potential barrier, which leads to a potential well. Think of it that way, you are on bicycle at altitude 0. You're on flat ground, but you have a downward slope ahead, so you give yourself just a little "push", then it's downhill to -10m. Without putting any effort, you'll go back up to 0m, because because of the small amount of energy you spent at the start. Then you go downhill again and so on, until all the initial energy is depleted from friction forces. With minimal effort at the beginning, you can keep your motion for a very long time, which can create the illusion of perpetual motion; but eventually, just as surely as gravity keeps people like you on this planet (unfortunately) you'll slowdown. And at one point you can't reach 0m anymore because your speed is too low, and the motion stops. Now put a
ابراهيم المري -- 21-Aug-2012 01:44:14 am -- ahh o.o one comment I think all those will stop due friction factor coz there isn't a motion with out friction plus every action = and opposite reaction so E.X 5 new-ten(action )+ 5( - 2 friction) = 3 if we repeat it the will power will decrease until it reach 0 "correct me if I'm wrong o.o".
Aaron Maschner -- 17-Aug-2012 11:26:48 am -- No way the flask is real. The water would only go as high as the level in the flask. Also, you may notice that it takes a moment to start flowing, and is clear to start with. My guess is there's something in that lower "handle" that pushes the water. The circle thing has starts and stops as does the one with marbles. Like stated before, all will lose out to friction.
Jade Mcdonald -- 02-Aug-2012 11:43:28 pm -- Now I'd like to see one of those power a lightbulb..

عمادحمدى حمدى -- 17-May-2012 09:58:27 am -- were to be able to harvest energy/electricity out of nowhere. This would be an awesome discovery, worthy of the nobel prize.
Antonis Galatista -- 22-Apr-2012 04:03:36 am -- ta apla an den ta gnoriseis kalytera..
MichelCardin -- 15-Apr-2012 02:49:55 am -- It's funny how when I explained how to use this to create energy; they deleted all the comments and all it needs is to subcidise gravity with springs on each of these but of course these springs would need to be very long as to not have much of an effect between the highest and lowest position of then as they go around. Selfish morons.
Darin Deal -- 15-Apr-2012 12:26:05 am -- what the hell?
MichelCardin -- 14-Apr-2012 06:15:28 am -- Now where did all your comments go? I wonder.
Sir Crushalot -- 11-Apr-2012 01:04:13 am -- .... physics. These contraptions are "pseudo" perpetual - each closed system could theoretically perpetuate forever; however, the one looming issue becomes that of friction.
Sir Crushalot -- 11-Apr-2012 12:58:50 am -- Capillary action for the win.
What facts and whom did you hear these facts from? From people whom could not achieve this? Well most people that can't do something say that it is then impossible. You see my dear Sir. ; you have to concentrate on something to achieve it's understanding and if one can't do it; then they should just shut up and hope that another will explain it to them as einstein did for math.
Most of you are right;BUT if you were to wish to use something like this to harvest energy; you shall then replace the action that gravity takes part in; with spring forces instead. Good Luck
They do not generate power no matter their size. They require an input of energy to move, and the motion will stop because of energy losses to friction. Sorry. You want power, you need an input of energy, whether you're converting the chemical energy from molecular bonds is fuel to mechanical energy in an engine, kinetic energy from wind to electricity, heat energy from the sun to electrical energy, nuclear energy to heat energy, etc.
Sorry, but the ideas behind this movie have always been wrong and were proved so beginning in the 18th century. But movies like this do provide entertainment for people with a rudimentary grasp of science and history. Then again, that entertainment is dampened by the knowledge that so many people in the 21st century lack that grasp.
That the concept of perpetual motion is very appealing doesn't make it real. I'm sorry if that reality makes you unhappy, along with those who claim there is a 200mpg carburetor that has been suppressed by the oil companies, but facts are stubborn things.
What is Newton's first law?
SIR! An object in motion remains in motion. SIR!
Perpetual motion is a fact of physics; ALL of these are known as a 'closed loop' -- they WILL actually stop given enough time due to loss of energy by friction, but if friction were able to be removed entirely they'd most certainly go forever.
No credit for partial answers, maggot!
Sir! Unless acted on by an outside force, sir!
The moment you try to tap it to take energy out of the device, it will slow down and eventually stop. As such while a cool example of the law of conservation, they are USELESS for power generation.
If one were able to actually build these things on a large scale, one were to be able to harvest energy/electricity out of nowhere. This would be an awesome discovery, worthy of the nobel prize..
Start building people! And prove this movie right / wrong!
the flask is no fake, and if you'd quit down playing peoples clever thoughts, maybe people would be comfortable having more of them. the flask works because of weight/volume vs pressure, then the syphon effect.. if you don't know science, shut your mouth. if you do, you understand the concept of perpetual motion is very appealing for high-efficiency motors with minimal input. someone quit bloggin stupid comments, and find a way to create a perpetual motor without gravity. use mercury and a gyroscope or something. shut up and learn something!

Because they are propelled by their own mass and gravity and the need to connect another device to them to produce a current they wouldn't function any longer. Even if you could, none of these devices could go fast enough to generate a lot of electricity.
