The tram driver got out of the tram to check why it wasn't starting, during the check he got electrocuted by a current and the tram, full of passenger, took off on its own without a driver. Fortunately, there were no casualties. Damage was caused to vehicles only.
There's no Russian word for "safe" that I know of, it's like the land of car accidents. This guy lucked it out hard.
