Alex Slaw -- 02-Nov-2012 09:43:06 pm -- First of all her stance was all wrong. her shoulder was not even on the butt end of the stock. wasn't leaning into the rifle she was leaning away and at an angle. and as she is right handed I would of told her to put her left knee on the ground instead of her right. he was right about one thing at least. The moment of recoil, her head was bouncing back, hitting the instructor and then the scope AND why is an armature practicing with this type of gun? What a stupid way to hold a rifle... -_- Naveen Ahmed -- 01-Jun-2012 03:25:55 pm -- lool, she positioned it on her shoulder wrong, and probably didn't have a firm enough grip against it either ;P its also good to push the butt against your shoulder while sort of grasping the forend pulling "pulling" forward before firing, sort of "stretching" the rifle. makes the recoil easier to handle :) Fabrizio Pigiù Capitini -- 22-May-2012 09:42:14 am -- I owe no firearms but 2 things are obvious: the rifle butt is VERY BADLY placed on the shoulder! the recoil made it flip off position hurting the girl. And HOWEVER, the weight balancement of the girl should be placed forward, ready to respond to the energy of the recoil, her spine looks like it's back, the energy of the recoil even if rifle butt was well in position, would have probably made her fall.
