Pathetic. It's all about technique, you need momentum if you are going to climb a loose dirt hill on street tires. That range rover could have easily made it up, who knows what gear settings they had going on there.
Very cool car. I was in Montana in 98 and tried assending an even steeper hill about the same length than the first here to get a good view for a few photographs in a 97 Explorer.It has just reached the top and I gave it more gas to clear the top when it began tipping over backwards! I had the presence of mind thankfully to let off the gas and NOT hit the break.The front slammed back to the ground and rolled backward a few feet until I hit the breaks. It took me 30 minutes to manuver the car around and get back down the hill. Needless to say it scared the bejesus out of me.Wonder why I had to replace the front struts shortly afterwards?? ~lol~
