Alex Holcomb -- 09-Aug-2012 07:36:12 am -- Awesome! I hope you all the best with your hearing! I can't imagine how much difference you just went through... As if having a weight lifted off you have worn forever and never known what was like not to have on you. That is truly amazing. All the best for you!
Adrian De Vore -- 30-Jul-2012 03:30:11 am -- I got this feeling when I lost my hearing aid and found it a few hours later. You'd be surprised to find how grateful you'd be to just to hear something.
David Puetter -- 28-Jul-2012 05:51:33 pm -- If she hears for the first time, How can she understand? How is she talking a actual language?
Michaela Hixson -- 15-Jul-2012 11:31:45 pm -- I don't understand how she understood what the nurse was saying? Her eyes were covered by her hands and the nurse said "can you hear me?" if she never heard people speaking before it would just be a lot of noise that didn't make since and she could not have been reading her lips. Her speaking is also phenomenal. There is no way this is real.
Earl Swartz -- 07-Jul-2012 11:58:09 am -- AMAZING man felt the saame! haha* laufed so loud I had to remove my aid.

SO here's my Problem, when the Nurse/Technician says "do you wanna hear your husband say something" all i hear this dude behind the camera do is Laugh for 2seconds instead assuming he is the husband!!! ....how about saying something to her for the First time fool !
This is bullshit. She would'nt be able to speak that clearly if she was completly deaf since born. Implants can only amplify what you already can hear. If she was completly deaf, she wouldn't hear more and still...she wouln't be able to recognize what is the meaning of the sounds. My gf is deaf, I know what I'm talking about. The title is wrong ! I won't cry on that!
Wow How touching this was to watch. I spent a year in a wheel chair and two and a half years on crutches before I could walk again and I know what it is like for a disability to go away.
It just goes to show you ALL! How much we take life for granted !!
This makes me really think about all of the young people who thought life was never going to be good to them and chose to end their lives instead. It's never too late for your miracle to come, and it is very obviously worth waiting for.
it is great that she can hear and she wanted to have this done I am proud of her it is a long horrible process. I have friends who are deaf and hearing. My deaf friends don't think there is anything wrong with them. Also Parents should not do this to their children until the child is old enough to decide for themselves it is not right. But good for her again.
How wonderful for this young lady to hear the wonderful world around her for the first time, I am so happy for her!!!!! Those 60 people have no idea what it is like not to hear they have no heart how sad!!!!
